Who doesn’t love Aldi? They have all of your favorite foods at a fraction of the price and they still taste amazing.

Now there’s even more to love because they’ve expanded their selection to carry vegan friendly items that are incredible! Why Vegan you ask? Well, most of the time vegan foods are free from a lot of the major allergens so it can be a good place to start for a lot of people.

Here are some great vegan foods at Aldi…, Don’t forget your quarter – you’re gonna need a cart for all of these vegan products.

Simply Nature Coconut & Chia Granola

You know it’s going to be a good day when you start it with this superfood bowl of greatness. Organic oats, coconut, and chia seeds make for a fantastic breakfast. Plus everything is organic! And while you’ll pay an arm and a leg for this type of cereal at a typical grocery store, Aldi has your back – it’s actually affordable.

Friendly Farms Non-Dairy Creamer

Before non dairy creamers came out I used unsweetened almond milk and it wasn’t quite the same. Let’s be honest – it was borderline terrible. But thankfully Aldi’s here to save the day (or at least my mornings). They have both coconut based and almond milk based creamers. My favorite is the sweet “cream” coconut creamer.

Earth Grown Vegan Style Cream Cheese

This product is better than any other vegan cream cheese I’ve tasted. It spreads super easily onto bagels and has zero aftertaste. Plus it’s only $2.39!

Earth Grown Chickenless Patties (Tenders are available too)

These are great for those nights where you need a quick dinner. Put them on a bun and serve alongside some veggies and you’re done! They have only 190 calories and a whopping 11 grams of protein making them a really healthy choice as well.

Also, the breading on the patties is a great addition and packs some great nutritional value because it’s made with great ancient grains such as amaranth, quinoa, and millet.

Good Foods Plant Based Dips

These dips are seriously delicious and there are so many varieties to choose from!!! The queso dip over nachos does have my heart though. And with no preservatives, no added sugars, gluten free, dairy free and vegan what more could you want?

Season’s Choice Black Bean and Chipotle Burger

If you’re looking for a veggie burger with a kick this is the one for you! It’s made with rice and black beans and has some heat to top it off. I love cooking these burgers, cutting them up, and adding them to salsa. Makes a wonderful dip to bring to a potluck.

Earth Grown Meatless Vegan Hot Dog

My son loves hot dogs SO much but I can’t bring myself to feed him a real hot dog given all the weird animal parts that go into making them.

(Seriously, what goes in those things?)

However, these are an amazing hot dog alternative. The taste and texture are phenomenal plus they have 13 grams of protein and only 100 calories.

Earth Grown Meatless Meatballs

Another great fix when you are in a time crunch. These little babies are so flavorful!!!

My kids, in-laws, AND husband didn’t even notice these were vegan. Plus with 13 grams of protein and only 160 calories in 6 meatballs it is a win for your waist as well!

Earth Grown Veggie Potstickers

Confession, I LOVE potstickers. Always have and always will. These are a great option if you’re cutting down on your meat but still want the great flavors.

And, to make them even more irresistible they only take 10 minutes to cook! Also, did I mention they’re so good even my husband and kiddos loved them? Yep, add them to your cart.

Earth Grown Vegan Mozzarella Cheese

One of the worst things about vegan cheese is sometimes it doesn’t melt. But these little shreds of goodness are amazing melters!!!

Pour them over a pizza and they will melt into ooey gooey goodness. I wouldn’t recommend eating it straight because it has a nutty flavor but melted over something you cannot taste it, just cheesy goodness.

Season’s Choice Eggplant Fries

I’m not a huge fan of eggplant so I was skeptical to say the least when I tried these out. To my surprise, though they baked up super crisp and the breading was excellent. The box also suggests you dip them in marinara sauce which I think would be awesome.

Simply Nature Vegetable Broth

A great staple to have in every vegan kitchen. Plus it’s organic and super affordable.

Simply Nature Agave Nectar

Agave nectar is a great alternative to table sugar or honey because it has a low gi index. This means lower blood sugars and less insulin released after eating.

Basically your fix for a sugary taste wihtout the nastry crash. A wonderful alternative if your diabetic as well. Typically agave nectar is pretty expensive (like $7.99 for a tiny bottle, AKA “I’m not ever going to buy it” expensive) but at our Aldi it’s only $2.99!!!

Elevation Peanut Butter Cookie Bar

Anything that has peanut butter and cookie in the title has my vote!

We could really just stop with that and most of the planet would know these little gems are amazing.

But there’s more… These are great because they only have 4 ingredients in them and best yet there’s no added sugar! The sweetness from the bar comes from dates.

#HealthyCookies – that should be a new trending hashtag

Root Veggie Hashbrowns by Simply Nature

Forget your love of hashbrowns and insert these new root veggie circles of goodness! They are made with carrots, rutabaga, potatoes, yuca roots, beets, and sweet potatoes. Finally you can enjoy a second (or third) helping of these “hashbrowns” without the guilt.

Spicy Guacamole Minis from Little Salad Bar

Ummm, did someone say guac? Sure did!

Do you ever have a guac craving but you don’t want to A) order Chipotle delivery for just chips and guac or B) actually make it yourself?

Well these little mini containers are perfect for an afternoon snack pick me up. Who has an avocado and cutting board at their desk at work anyway? Let’s be honest, life is just better when there’s guac.

Extra Virgin Coconut Spread

It’s a bit tricky to find a good vegan butter at a great price. My biggest pet peeve is when it doesn’t spread on my toast! I don’t have time to be breaking “butter” into tiny pieces and then jab holes into my bread as I attempt to spread said tiny pieces. Enough of that soap box, point is this spread does the trick. Since it’s made from coconut oil its got a bit of a sweet taste and easily spreads on bread.

Simply Nature Freeze Dried Mangoes (also comes in strawberries)

Freeze dried fruit is nature’s equivalent to candy. My only problem with freeze dried fruit is the price.

Fortunately, Aldi has them for an unbeatable price.

By now, you’re probably not surprised by that. Don’t feel bad if you have to eat the whole bag in one sitting… it’s only 120 calories, which is about half of the calories in a bag of Skittles.

Park Street Deli Brownie Batter Hummus

You actually did read that correctly, BROWNIE BATTER hummus!!!!

Yum! I love dipping strawberries in this for a delicious no guilt dessert. Er… Low-guilt dessert. P.S. it’s also super good with graham crackers.

Benton’s Fudge Mint Cookies

Close your eyes and take a bite, is it a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie or is it Aldi’s Fudge Mint Cookie? I bet you won’t be able to tell the difference! However, you can get these all. Year. round. Just sayin. (No, these aren’t really that healthy but vegans gotta indulge sometimes too, right?)

Almond Ice Cream by Earth Grown

Ok, let’s just get decadent for a second. Crush some of those Fudge Mint Cookies up and mix them into some chocolate almond ice cream. That’s what dreams are made of my friends. This ice cream is SO rich and creamy, you won’t believe it’s vegan. Also, you won’t believe the unbeatable price. Thanks Aldi.

Aldi is really making some waves (in a good way) with their amazing new selection of vegan items. I. Am. Diggin it! Thank you for giving us some amazing tasting vegan foods that we can actually afford. And if you haven’t ever shopped at Aldi give it a try today!!! Just remember a quarter – you’re gonna need a cart.
